Our latest meeting held on August 21 at our office focused on areas for improvement and offered support and guidance to our drivers. These discussions are essential for continuously enhancing the quality of service we deliver to our clients.

The annual meeting took place on August 17, 2024, at the Hotel Holiday Inn, Mayur Vihar, New Delhi. After a COVID hiatus, we were glad to resume this essential gathering. The MD shared updates on India’s travel industry, highlighting recent developments and challenges impacting our business, and we discussed strategies to navigate them effectively. We also reviewed our operational processes, aiming to boost efficiency and client service, and welcomed team feedback on their experiences and challenges. We stressed the need for improved communication across departments, as clear, timely interactions are crucial for smooth operations and responsive client service.

Mr. Amarjeet Singh Dhingra joined TSI on January 10, 1997, dedicating over 25 years to our organization—a remarkable milestone. His contributions as Manager (Transport) have been invaluable, and we’re deeply grateful for the dedication, hard work, and positive impact he has brought to the TSI team. His unwavering commitment and work ethic set a high standard, inspiring all of us. We extend our heartfelt thanks for his tireless efforts in leading the transport department with exceptional efficiency and effectiveness. Although it’s difficult to say goodbye, we celebrate his legacy and wish him all the best in the journey ahead. Mr. Amarjeet Singh Dhingra retired on March 31, 2022.

We received our first international client from Spain on 20-Nov-21 after almost 18/19 months. The client’s arrival in Delhi was very smooth without any inconvenience, immigration staff was helpful, however, during the transit at Frankfurt they had to complete some formalities and paperwork

Taking forward the tradition of the office, Diwali Puja and the get-together took place at the inbound section. As usual Mr. Amarjeet S. Dhingra performed the Ardas and the parshad was served. Though the team is small compared to previous years due to Covid but still the spirit was high. The day ended with high tea & some snacks.

Every year we use to celebrate MD’s birthday & this year too the team did the same. The cake & cookies were prepared by the Director and all of us enjoyed the evening.

The management had decided to come up with online car / coach rental portal which was launched successfully with the support of our web partner Digital Candy Communications. The portal is now online – www.travelspell.com/. Moreover to cover other areas of our business, we are in process of coming up with online air tickets and hotel booking service. The portal is more or less ready with the host name www.tsiholidaysonline.com. Ms. Himani is handling this & checking the on the functionalities regularly. This initially will be for our corporate clients and later will aired for all the individual business

The management had called all staff for Diwali PUJA/ARDAS ceremony on 25-Oct-19 i.e. Friday at 3.30 pm in the inbound section (Diwali was on 27-Oct 2019). Firstly Ardas / Puja was performed by Dhingra Sir who talked about Bandi Chhod Diwas, rehearsed some hymns and wished well for all staff and TSI in his Ardas. MD welcomed the TSI team on this auspicious occasion of Diwali and also thanked Mr. Dhinga for performing Ardas / Pooja for all of us.

In a continuous process to update themselves & to update the information with team inbound, MD traveled to Orissa. They visited several hotels to know the current status of the properties, checked various activities etc. This helps our inbound section in quality control & itinerary planning.
