Day 1:
Arrive into Dover on early morning ferry from Calais. Transfer via the town of Canterbury in Kent, known as the 'Garden of United Kingdom' to London. Possibility to via Canterbury Cathedral, or travel along the south coast to the town of Hastings and chance to visit Leeds Castle before transferring into London. Overnight London suburbs.


Day 2:
Morning sightseeing in London with local guide, included in the sightseeing is the entrance to Madame Tussaud's - a chance to meet the stars of stage, screen, sport, history and politics. Afternoon free time. Overnight London suburbs.


Day 3:
Leaving London this morning we travel north to the Midlands and to Stratford-upon-Avon, which is the birthplace and home of William Shakespeare. His house can still be visited in the centre of the town and the local church contains his grave. The river with its pleasure boats is a colourful focal point of the town in summer. From Stratford, travel the short distance to Warwick to see Britain's best-preserved medieval castle, Warwick Castle. The Kingmaker's House, the dungeon, the gardens and the fascinating display of weaponry are just some of the highlights of a visit to the Castle. Continue north to visit the town of York with its famous Minster before overnight York / Leeds area.


Day 4:
Leaving York we have the possibility to visit the town of Durham, or take the northwest coastal route through Berwick, a wonderfully scenic route with many castles to be seen. A visit to Melrose and Melrose Abbey can also be made today. Then continue north to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. Overnight Edinburgh area.


Day 5:
This morning there is time for sightseeing in Edinburgh and included in this tour is a visit to Edinburgh Castle. The castle is home to the Scottish Crown Jewels and dominates the city - no visit to Edinburgh is complete without seeing this grand castle. Afternoon free time for shopping and sightseeing in Edinburgh. This evening why not take the opportunity for an optional traditional Scottish evening. Overnight Edinburgh area again.


Day 6:
This morning we head north again into the highlands of Scotland with the chance to visit Blair Castle and a whisky distillery at Blair Atholl. Continue north, visiting the legendary Loch Ness. Time allowing visit Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch Ness or the official Loch Ness Monster Exhibition. Overnight Inverness area.


Day 7:
Travel south to the area of Glen Coe and the Nevis mountain range, home to the UK's highest mountain and you will see the rugged beauty of the west coast of Scotland. Then it's further south to explore the beautiful areas of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond, where an optional cruise on the loch is possible, and also the possibility to visit the Glengoyne whisky distillery just north of Glasgow. Overnight Glasgow area


Day 8:
Travel to Stranraer for ferry to Belfast. A journey through Ireland takes us along the east coast and towards the vibrant city of Dublin. North of Dublin there is the chance to visit Malahide Castle, or go straight to Dublin for late afternoon sightseeing - St Patrick's Cathedral, Trinity College, Christchurch Cathedral, the Guinness Storehouse . Overnight Dublin area.


Day 9:
A short panoramic tour of Dublin this morning is possible before travelling southwest to Kilkenny with its castle and on to the rock of Cashel before arriving in Limerick. Overnight Limerick area.


Day 10:
Today we travel to the city of Cork. You can visit famous Blarney Castle and kiss the Blarney Stone, a well-known tourist site, kissing the Blarney stone is supposed to give you 'the gift of the gab' - the Irish are famous for their story-telling ability and friendliness. Then it's along the south coast to the town of Waterford, optional visit to the Waterford Crystal factory. Overnight Waterford area


Day 11:

Morning ferry from Rosslare to Wales. Scenic drive through south Wales taking in Pembrokeshire and St Davids. Onto Cardiff where you can see its Castle as well as the newly developed Cardiff Bay area and the stunning Millennium Stadium. Continue back into United Kingdom and overnight Bath/Bristol area.


Day 12:
A day to visit the Roman city of Bath, famous for its Georgian architecture and the visitor attraction of the Roman Baths and Pump room. Today the group can also explore the south west of United Kingdom, taking a trip along the coast to the seaside town of Weston-Supermare, or north from Bath to the Cotswolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Overnight Bath/Bristol area.


Day 13:
Travel to Salisbury and Stonehenge, the ancient mystical site in the heart of rural Wiltshire before heading back across the south of United Kingdom to Dover for evening ferry to Calais
