On the Thepksatri Circle, you will see the Heroines' Monument, dedicated to two sisters who showed extraordinary courage against the raiding Burmese army over 200 years ago.
Apart form this, there are many riding clubs offering horse rides on the beach. You can tee off at the many golf courses dotting this city. Don't forget to visit the Phromthep Cape, where you will find a panoramic view of the ocean and join other visitors who have come to admire the setting sun from this southernmost tip of Phuket.
