Day 01: Arrive Cochin

Upon arrival our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon you will go for a half-day sightseeing visiting Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Thomas Church, St. Mary's Cathedral, Chinese Fishing Nets and, Bolghatty Palace. Overnight will be at hotel.

Day 02: Cochin

After breakfast proceed to Indian Spices Board. After visiting Spices Board have lunch at Banana Leaf Restaurant (Sarovaram). Afternoon visit Jayalakshmi Silk Emporium & Ernakulam Market area to see the Vegetables, Spice shops etc. Evening free, Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Cochin / Periyar (03 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Thekkady (Periyar) and check in to your hotel by noon (3.5 hrs-110km). Thekkady is home to the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Periyar has a lot to offer in terms of natural beauty and wildlife. Periyar is famous for its rare habitat of birds and animals and is one of the most popular destinations for nature lovers. Afternoon sightseeing includes spice plantations etc. Overnight stay will be at Thekkady.

Day 04: Periyar

A relaxing morning after an early boat ride for elephant spotting - have a massage or stroll in the village. Mid-afternoon, a trip takes us to a working spice farm where we see cardamom, nutmeg, pepper, cloves, vanilla and allspice growing. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Periyar / Kumarakom (158/5 hrs)

An early departure as we head down the mountain. After visiting a tea factory, we have lunch at Johnny's Plantation House and see a rubber plantation. Drive to Kumarakom. On arrival , check-in at backwater resort and relax in the serene atmosphere of the resort. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Kumarakom

Day free to explore the backwaters and the lake by quiet motorboats and canoes through water channels or visit the bird Sanctuary on the opposite bank or just relax and enjoy "Pizhichin" a particularly energizing Ayurvedic Oil Massages, which is particularly rejuvenating. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Kumarakom / Mararikulam (12/0.5 per way)

After breakfast drive to Marari originates from "Mararikulam ", one of the local fishing villages, where life still goes on much as it did a hundred years ago, with the men going out to sea each day to earn a living bringing in the daily catch. Completely new to the holidaymaker. Marari offers endless miles of superb sand beaches backed by swaying palms. Upon arrival check into hotel. Rest of the time free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Marari

Full day at leisure at the Beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Marari

Full day at leisure at the Beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Marari

Full day at leisure at the Beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Marari / Thiruvanthapuram (195 kms/4 hrs)

Transfer to Thiruvanthapuram airport to board flight to your onward destination
