Destinations Covered: Colombo-Pinnewala-Sigriya-Dambulla-Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-Bentota
Day 01 : Colombo
On your arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be cordially received by our representatives. Your transfer to the hotel is arranged and you will spend night at the hotel in Colombo.
Day 02 : Colombo / Pinnewala / Sigriya
Today on 2nd day of Colombo Tour after breakfast we will drive to Sigiriya and on our way we will visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage . Here you can see the amazing sight of bathing of the elephants in the river close by and how they are fed. We will now continue to Sigriya . This is a World Heritage Site and comprises of a palace,garden and 200m high rock. Enjoy climbing the Sigiriya rock fortress and see the frescoes of lovely maidens in the sheltered rock pockets. When you climb this rock you will also see the Mirror Wall, which is a polished rock surface by weathering and erosion thus producing reflections just like a mirror. Return back to the hotel and spend night here.
Day 03 : Sigiriya / Dambulla / Kandy
On 3rd day of Colombo Tour after breakfast we will leave for Kandy visiting Dambulla rock cave temple which is a 1st century cave temple . Here you have Lord Buddha images and Boddhisattva. You will also visit the spice garden at Matale and a woodcarving and batik factory. Next we will proceed to Kandy. When you arrive there check in at your hotel. In the evening we will visit the Dalada Maligawa .Here there is the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. You will also enjoy a cultural performance here . Spend night at a hotel in Candy.
Day 04 : Kandy
We will begin the sightseeing tour of Kandy after breakfast. You will visit the Peradeniya Botanical gardens. There is a rare collection of tropical and indigenous flora and the renowned orchid house. Night is spent at the hotel.
Day 05 : Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
Today we will go to Nuwara Eliya and on our way we will also be visiting a tea factory and a tea estate. Once you arrive at Nuwara-Eliya,check in at a hotel. In the afternoon after lunch start sightseeing tour of Nuwara-Eliya . You will visit Hakgal Botanical gardens where there is vast collection of flora comprising of trees, shrubs & herbs.
Day 06 : Nuwara Eliya / Bentota
In your Colombo Tour on 6th day we will now go to Bentota by driving. En-route you will visit the Galle harbor. Here you will visit the Dutch fort where you will find splendid display of Dutch architecture which reminds of the bygone era. Benota is a picturesque and sprawling beach where there are also number of tourist resorts as well as hotels. On your way you will enjoy a ride in glass-bottom boat which allows you to view the coral reef. At night stay at a hotel in Bentota.
Day 07 : Bentota
Today on the 7th day of Colombo Tour the day is devoted entirely to leisure. You can go for an outing or indulge in shopping here at Bentota. Night is spent at the hotel here.
Day 08 : Departure
Today in the morning you can relax on the beach,take a stroll on the powdery sand here. In the afternoon we will arrange your transfer to airport so that you can catch a flight to return back home.
