Bali Recommended Tours

>Bali Recommended Tours Ubud Village Tours
These are mostly morning or half day tours. Go to Celuk, a popular village of gifted gold and silversmiths. Mas and Ubud villages are known for their painting, wood carving, handicrafts and traditional Balinese art.

Kintamani Highland & Barong Dance
Mostly full day tour, it takes you to the Batubulan village where you can witness the stunning Barong Dance. Stop at Mas, which is a well known center of wood carving and painting. The next stop is Goa Gajah, where you can see the ancient elephant cave temples. The main part of the trip is the stunning view of the Mount Batur crater and it's surrounding Batur Lake amidst the green hills from Kintamani. Later at noon, visit the divine spring temple at Sebatu village.

Besakih Mother Temple Tour (East of Bali)
In this full day tour, the first stop is at Gianyar Village where you can see the mother temple of Bali and the traditional hand weaving centers. Also see the Hall Justice of Kertha Gosha further east. Go north via the Bukit Jambul to witness the beautiful Indian ocean, rice terraces, clove plantations and the neighboring villages. Finally, head to Mount Agung to see the Besakih Temple. The mother temple of Hinduism in Bali, the Besakih Temple consists of several temple structures dedicated to Hinduism.

Uluwatu Temple and Nusa Dua Tour
These are morning or afternoon half day tours. The itinerary consists of stop over at Nusa Dua and Tanjung beach where you can witness sports activities. You can also take part in a number of marine sports like snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing, banana boating and lots more. The next stop is at the ancient temple of Uluwatu, situated atop a cliff over the sea. In the afternoon, you can watch the sun set from Uluwatu temple.

Mengwi, Monkey Forest and Tanah Lot Tour
This half day afternoon tour takes you to Taman Ayun, the Royal Family temple. Next, you will visit the Alas Kedaton village, the ancient Bukit Sari temple and the sacred monkey forest. The ultimate stop is at the majestic Tanah Lot temple, set at the backdrop of the ocean. You can witness the beautiful sunset from here. Lastly, you can visit the markets which sell Balinese handicrafts goods.

Karangasem Tour (East of Bali)
Embark on this morning full day tour and go to Gianyar to witness the traditional hand weaving centers. Also visit the Hall Justice of Kertha Gosha, which dates back to the 17th century. While heading to Karangasem, stop at Goa Lawah, the bat cave temple.

Kintamani Highlands & Besakih Temple (North east of Bali)
It is a full day tour. The tour starts from the trip to the well known village of expert gold and silversmiths. Then stop at the village of Mas, which is a popular center of wood carving and painting and get the traditional culture of Bali. Then make your journey northwards and go to Goa Gajah, the ancient elephant cave temples. Lastly, the itinerary consists of visit to the stunning Kintamani from where you can have million dollar view of the Mount Batur crater and the adjacent Batur Lake.

Bedugul to Singaraja Lovina Beach (North of Bali)
The tour lasts for a full day. Make a trip to the cool and green highland region of Bedugul and see unusual fruits, vegetables and flowers and the beautiful Beratan Lake. Also go to the local market and buy fresh fruits. Stop over at the old Balinese capital Singaraja by the coast while making a trip to visit Bali's highest waterfall located at Gitgit village. Nest, head to the beautiful Lovina Beach, which is popular for swimming. On your return journey, stop at a natural hot spring and rice fields and coffee plantations in Tabanan.

Kuta Beach Tour
This half day tour takes you to the Kuta area where you can get a feel of the hustle and bustle. The lovely beaches of Kuta are popular for activities like swimming, sun bathing, surfing, massage therapies and so on. You can visit some art shops as well and buy a range of Balinese handicrafts, souvenirs and so on. Kuta is a developed city and there are money changers, banks, restaurants, bars and centers of night life and entertainment.

Bali Bird Park, gold & silver village
The Bali Bird Park is located in the midst of the lush rural village Singapadu, Gianyar. The park is spread over an area of two hectares and provides habitat for over 250 different species of birds. You can watch a number of birds while walking through this park. It is a great place to relax from the mundane activities of life. There are some local shops near the entrance from where you can buy traditional hand made batik paintings and other handicrafts. Visit the Celuk and Batubulan Villages, which are well known centers for stone carving and gold and silver works. There is a fee to enter the bird park.

Barong Dance and Kuta Beach Tour
This half day tour offers you the opportunity to witness the Balinese sacred dance called Barong Dance and get a feel of the local culture. The dance is a symbolization of the eternal fight between good and evil. After watching the dance, you are taken to Kuta, one of the most popular tourist resorts in Bali. Kuta is home to beautiful beaches where you can enjoy swimming, sun bathing, surfing, massage therapies and other activities. Kuta is also popular for its nightlife and entertainment centers and shopping zones. You can buy traditional Balinese handicrafts and local artifacts from the shops.

Uluwatu Temple + Kecak Dance + BBQ set seafood Dinner & Lobster
You are treated to an hour of Kecak dance in the evening, which starts at 6.00pm. Popularly called Monkey Dance, Kecak is one of the famous traditional dances of Bali performed by a group of 100 men in a concentric circle. The dance symbolizes various ancient stories taken from the Hindu epic Ramayana. After the performance, you are taken to the Jimbaran or Kedonganan beaches for a lavish BBQ dinner which includes mouth watering seafood delicacies like Lobster.
