 About Golden Chariot: Welcome to the fascinating world of Karnataka. Venture out on a memorable journey of discovery through the Cradle of Stone Architecture. The Golden Chariot, called after the name of the noted world heritage site of Stone Chariot in Hampi in South India, will take you through the popular Historical Heritage Sites, Royal Palaces and Wildlife and Golden Beaches. The 7 Nights and 8 Days journey starts every Monday from Bangalore covering Mysore, including visits to Srirangapatnam and Mysore Palace; the Nagarhole National Park (Kabini). The journey will continue to the historical sites of Sravanabelagola, Belur - a home to11th century Hoysala architecture and a world heritage site, Halebid and Hampi. From here, it will enter into the triangular heritage sites of Badami, Patadakkal and Aihole. It will also travel to the stunning golden beaches of Goa and then finally stop in Bangalore.
As the wheels of the Golden Chariot rolls, you will find yourself heading for a place, which was once attacked by the powerful armies in ancient times. Bask in the picturesque sceneries outside from the windows amidst the luxurious comfort of your train. We bring you the Golden Chariot - a unique balance between a royal yesterday and a glorious tomorrow in the magical land of Karnataka.
Facilities on Board:
The chambers are designed in a royal style incorporating the flavors that prevailed in the time of Mysore Maharajas. Attractive carvings on the ceilings, intricate wall panels and furniture presenting Mysore and Hoysala architectural patterns make for a delightful sight.
Every coach of "The Golden Chariot" is named after the ruling families of Karnataka. The names are Hoysala, Kadamba, Ganga, Rastrakota, Bhahamani, Chalukya, Adhilshahi, Shathavashna, Yudukula Sangama, and Vijayanagar.

26 twin beds, 17 double bed cabins and 1 cabin for the physically challenged.
Every cabin is furnished with vanity or writing desk, LCD television, Wi-Fi, DVD with 6 satellite channels, and private bathroom with excellent amenities and accessories.
Nala and Ruchi - Two Restaurants.
Nala has been named after a king and a famous chef of the time of Mahabharata. Ruchi stands for fine taste in Sanskrit. Both the restaurants offer sumptuous array of vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines.
Interiors reflect the dateless aesthetics of Hampi and Halebid.

The Tariff does not includes:

Reservation Policy:
In case of FITs:
- 20% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
- Remaining 80% of ticket value 45 days prior to departure.
In case of Group:
- 50% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
- Remaining 50% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy :
Note: Cancellation must be advised immediately by Fax/E-mail to Travel Spirit International
In case of FITs:
. 5% of the ticket value if cancellation is made until 60 days prior to departure.
. 20% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 30-59 days prior to departure.
. 50% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 15-29 days prior to departure.
. 100% of the ticket value if the cancellation is made 14 days prior to departure.
In case of Group:
. 10% of the ticket value if cancellation is made until 60 days prior to departure.
. 25% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 30-59 days prior to departure.
. 75% of the ticket value if cancellation is made between 15-29 days prior to departure.
. 100% of the ticket value if the cancellation is made 14 days prior to departure.
No show/ En route termination of tour/amendment:
No Show - In case of No Show / Non-arrival of the guest, no refund or adjustment in future travel will be possible. The whole amount shall be treated as forfeited.
En route termination of tour - In case of termination of tour by the guest, for any reasons, no refund or adjustment for future travel will be possible. The amount for unused portion of the tour shall be treated as forfeited.
Amendment - Is only possible under the circumstances like Natural Disaster / Natural Calamity or Serious Health Problem's (this needs to be supported by doctor's certificate) and is subject to availability. No refunds are possible and every case will be decided on merits on a case to case basis
