Day 1 ARRIVE DELHI

Upon your arrival in Delhi, you’ll be met by a member of our team at the airport and chauffeured to your pre-booked stay at The Roseate. After check-in formalities relax at hotel till afternoon.

Later drive through the Embassy area, Diplomatic enclave, stop for a quick photo shoot at India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidential Estate formerly Viceroy’s House), Connaught Place, New Delhi’s main shopping area and also visit the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple) one of the most prominent Sikh house of worship, in Delhi. Later visit to the Humayun’s Tomb & 72 meters high Qutub Minar. Thereafter, we will take you to a local house for a Cooking Demonstration followed by dinner where you can see that how Indian Curries are prepared and also enjoy the food and interact with the host family. If you wish you can note the recipe with the help of host and can try back at home when you feel like having home cooked Indian meal. Day 2 IN DELHI

Optional: Early morning proceed for cycle tour of Delhi.
After sumptuous breakfast, visit Red Fort from outside (Closed on Monday), Jama Masjid, and enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid in labyrinth of Chandni Chowk. Thereafter, late afternoon, proceed to visit Akshardham Temple the grandeur and wisdom behind the temple is best when experienced. The main monument, of depicting ancient Indian “vastu shastra” and architecture, is a masterpiece in pink sandstone. Swaminarayan Akshardham, Delhi complex features a large central monument crafted entirely of stone, exhibitions on incidents from the life of Swaminarayan and the history of India, an IMAX feature, a musical fountain, and large landscaped gardens. Day 3 DELHI – AGRA (205 KMS / 3 HRS.)

After breakfast, transfer by surface to our next destination – Agra, a city in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh state, is home to the iconic Taj Mahal, a mausoleum built for the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan’s wife.
On arrival check in the hotel. After some rest and fresh-en-up, proceed to visit the much awaited – Taj Mahal, reflecting off the glistening white marble of the monument are truly something special. Visit world famous Taj Mahal- (closed on Fridays) built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaj. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at ITC Mughal Sheraton.

Day 4 AGRA – RANTHAMBORE (296 KMS / 5.5 HRS.)

After breakfast, depart for Ranthambore Wildlife Park. Ranthambore National Park is in Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan state. Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, this is one of the finest places to view animals, especially as they are used to being stared at here. The Best Time to Visit Ranthambore National park will be from 1st October to 30th June. Rest of the Time Park is closed for the Visitors. After some rest at hotel, in the afternoon, visit the park for a memorable experience with wild animals. Overnight stay at Sher Bagh.


Day 5 IN RANTHAMBORE

After cup of tea/coffee with cookies, proceed for your morning private jeep safari. Ranthambore is one of the few preserves where the nocturnal camera-shy tigers may be seen in daylight. Almost hunted to extinction by the local royalty and their British overlords, the population of the Bengal tiger is slowly increasing thanks to the efforts of “Project Tiger” and the World Wildlife Fund.
You’ll enjoy thrilling game drives in the morning and evening to scour the jungle for wildlife. Overnight stay at Sher Bagh.

Day 7 JAIPUR

Morning, enjoy sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the abode of the rajahs. Enjoy an excursion to the magnificent Amber Fort, the ancient citadel of the Kachwaha clan. Ascent the fort riding on a 10 feet Elephant!
In the afternoon visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, built in the 1700s but still appears futuristic. Also visit the City Palace that houses the Maharaja’s private collection of textiles and armory. Culminate the tour with a photo stop at Hawa Mahal, fondly called the ‘Palace of Winds’.

Day 8 JAIPUR – PUSHKAR (145 KMS / 2.5 HRS.)

Morning breakfast at hotel. Later check out at hotel and drive to Pushkar. It is a holy place and is known as king of all ‘Tiraths’. Day 9 PUSHKAR – CHHATRA SAGAR (BY SURFACE 110KMS / 1.5HRS.)

Morning drive to Chhatra Sagar. On arrival check in at luxury camp. Luxury tents have always been an important part of Rajput lifestyle. Constant campaigns in far flung lands meant long stays in tents under inhospitable conditions. Tents were the only luxury available and soon these “homes away from home” evolved into mobile, mini-palaces. Day 10 IN CHHATRA SAGAR

Jeep safari to local villages and chilli fields with the hosts. During the safari visit a traditional farm and visit the local farmers’ house and meet his family. Later also visit a small village which is still living as it was 100 years ago. It is a self-sufficient village. Explore the village – visit silver & gold smith workshop and see how he makes traditional tribal jewelry, visit the black smith and watch him repair and make traditional farm equipment, visit the village cobbler & tanner who makes traditional leather shoes and the village Potter. Overnight at Chhatra Sagar.


Day 11 CHHATRA SAGAR – DEOGARH (BY SURFACE 124 KMS / 2HRS.)

Drive to Deogarh today and on arrival check in at the hotel. The Deogarh fortress is situated on a hillock and it is surrounded by the villages. It was constructed by the famed Sompura designers, famous for their accompaniments and alterations which were carried out according to the needs of the residents. There are five floors and over 200 rooms that have murals done by local painters after whom Deogarh School of painting has got fame all over the world. The family has a large set of Deogarh miniatures. Overnight stay is at Dev Shree, Deogarh.

Day 12 DEOGARH – UDAIPUR (128 KMS / 2.5 HRS.)

Leave for Udaipur, on the way visit the famous Jain temples of Ranakpur. The temples holds significant importance in the religion of Jainism, the temples are visited by large number of devotees every year along with numerous tourists. The eye catching feature of the temples here are the 1444 pillars that are exquisitely carved with no two similar in their designs. Later continue drive to Udaipur on arrival check in at the hotel.

Udaipur is considered by many as the most beautiful and the most romantic city in Rajasthan. Founded in 1567 by Maharana Udai Singh, the city is surprisingly quiet and traffic-free. It has the atmosphere of a small town, with winding alleyways and tree-lined streets leading to the impressive City Palace, which overlooks the legendary “floating” Lake Palace. On arrival, check in the hotel. Remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.
This evening enjoy cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola (subject to water levels). From the beautifully decorated boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake. Also visit the Jag Mandir Palace – another lovely island palace in the middle of the lake. Watch a spectacular sunset over the lake, which will be a fitting finale for the day (subject to weather conditions). Overnight stay at Raas Devigarh.

Breakfast at hotel. Spend the day on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur, starting with the City Palace. The entrance to the City Palace complex is through the ‘Hathi Pol’ (elephant gate) along the main street of the old city, past the Jagdish Temple. The paintings, mosaics, intricately carved ‘Chhatries’ and the architecturally brilliant façade all contribute to making a visit to the City Palace a truly memorable experience.

Continue to Crystal Gallery, it has a rare collection of Osler’s crystal ordered from England by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1877. Also visit Sahelion-ki-Bari, the garden of the maids of honour that was constructed for forty-eight young ladies in waiting who were sent to the royal house as a part of a lavish dowry. Remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure. Overnight stay at Raas Devigarh.


Day 14 UDAIPUR – DELHI (BY FLIGHT EX UDR)
