Day 1 Arrival Delhi – Lucknow (By Flight)

Upon arrival directly board flight to Lucknow. On arrival check into hotel. Later in the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Lucknow. Start with Bara Imambara, a unique piece of architecture built without any pillars, followed by Central Hall, world’s largest arched room. Thereafter, visit Rumi Darwaza, a fine example of Awadh architecture. Overnight at hotel in Lucknow.


Day 2 Lucknow – Sravasti (200 Kms/5.5 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Sravasti, an ancient deserted town surrounded by ruins. Upon arrival check into hotel; rest of the time free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.


Day 3 Sravasti – Lumbini (200 Kms/5.5 Hrs)

After breakfast visit Sahet & Mahet. Later drive to Lumbini enroute visit to Kapilvastu, Kingdom of king Suyodhan, father of prince Siddhartha. On arrival at Lumbini check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 4 Lumbini

After breakfast visit to the sacred gardens with Mayadevi temple depicting the birth of Lord Buddha, the Ashok Pillar, and Sakyan Tank. Where Mayadevi, the mother of the Buddha is supposed have taken bath before bringing forth the baby. Overnight at hotel.


Day 5 Lumbini – Kushinagar (185 Kms/5 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Kushinagar. On arrival at Kushinagar check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 6 Kushinagar – Vaishali (300 Kms/6.5 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Vaishali. Gautama Buddha used to visit Vaishali recurrently. It was in Kolhua he taught his last lesson. In order to celebrate this occasion, King Asoka created the legendary lion pillars in 3rd century B.C. After a century of Buddha’s Mahaparinirvana, Vaishali witnessed the hosting of the second grand Buddhist Council. In order to celebrate this occasion two stupas got constructed. Overnight at hotel.


Day 7 Vaishali – Nalanda – Rajgir (300 Kms/6.5 Hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Rajgir enroute visit Nalanda. Spread over 14 hectares, the Nalanda University Ruins Archaeological Complex is set amidst expansive lawns which offset the spectacular layout and carvings of this ancient university. Continue onto Rajgir; upon arrival check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.


Day 8 Rajgir – Bodhgaya (75 kms/2 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Bodhgaya. Upon arrival check-in at Hotel. Bodhgaya – here Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 Bodhgaya

Day is free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.


Day 10 Bodhgaya

Day is free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.


Day 11 Bodhgaya – Varanasi (255 Kms/6 Hrs)

Sravasti

After breakfast check out & drive to Varanasi. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. In the evening witness Aarti ceremony at Ganges Ghats. Overnight at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 12 Varanasi

Early morning proceed to Boat ride at Ganges to watch Sunrise (subject to weather). Later return to hotel for Breakfast. After that city tour visiting Benares Hindu University, Vishwanath Temple, Durga Temple, Bharat Mata Temple. Later in the afternoon visit Sarnath where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Overnight at Varanasi.


Day 13 Varanasi – Delhi (By Flight)

Sravasti

After breakfast time free at leisure. Later in time transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 14 Delhi

Sravasti

After breakfast at hotel start a combined city tour of old & new Delhi. Start from Red Fort (from outside) built in red sandstone, Constructed by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque and visit famous bazaars of Chandni Chowk & Rajghat crimination place of Mahatma Gandhi. After visiting Old Delhi monuments visit India Gate built in memory of the soldiers who laid down their lives in the 1st World War drive past the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, Parliament House, the other government buildings also visit Humayun’s Tomb the mausoleum of emperor Humayun’s & Qutub Minar. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 15 Delhi – Departure

Sravasti

After breakfast time free at leisure. Later in time transfer to the Airport to board flight to onward destination. (Departure) .
